Rt Scanner 1D Inversion
The Rt Scanner 1D inversion provides bed-by-bed vertical & horizontal resistivity and formation dip and azimuth for the 39, 54 and 72in. transmitter-to-receiver tool arrays. The Rt Scanner 1D inversion includes an additional linear inversion that produces bed-by-bed dip information. The results quality can be assessed with a series of Log quality flags to define the confidence in the results.
Vertical Fracture Detection
Fractures at or near the wellbore can have a large impact on induction resistivity measurements when the fractures resistivity contrast with their surrounding formation is important magnitude. These fractures can be detected and their orientation determined using the 3D resistivity tensor from the Rt Scanner.
Laminated Sand Analysis (LSA)
Laminated Sand Analysis (LSA) utilizes an industry standard bimodal model of alternating sand and shale laminations with dispersed clay in the pore space of the sand laminations. The outputs of LSA are net-to-gross for the interval of interest and key properties of the laminated sands like: sand porosity and sand resistivity as well as the volume of dispersed clay.
Interactive Selection of Shale Resistivity in LSA
The cross plot of Rh and Rv enables the user to defined Shale Resistivity point providing a graphical solution for Shale fraction (Fshale) and Sand resistivity (Rsand). Shale resistivity may also be set interactively on the Rv Shale and Rh Shale curves in a logView whilst LSA calculates corresponding FShale and RSand volumes.
PetroXpress: Multi Sensor Quick Look
The PetroXpress quick look computes porosity, Mineralogy Based Volumetric Analysis, Rock Quality Analysis, Fluid Volumes and Horizontal Permeability independent of the thickness of the beds.
Permeability Anisotropy facilitates integration of permeability data for defined rock types multiple sources like: core, well test, wireline testers and logs. The results of the analysis can be output in a table ready for completion engineers to take into reservoir productivity candidate selection or in the form of a file suitable for Petrel RE to include in the simulation.
Carbonate Rock Typing
Carbonate Rock Typing uses NMR and image data to propagate Lucia and Rosetta Stone derived rock types to wells with no core. Lucia and Rosetta Stone rock types are tied directly to depositional facies and saturation-height modeling and can be a key input to flow modeling in Petrel RE.
