Overview

The Blueback Seismic Data Management Connector allows user to bulk-import seismic scanned in SDM. The import process requires minimal manual interaction given scanning parameters, survey and category have been specified in SDM. Existing SEG-Y instances can be validated against the SDM database to quickly identify errors with trace headers and CRS and review vintage and survey names.

Features

Import file collections with poststack SEG-Y and ZGY files scanned with Blueback Seismic Data Management (SDM) into Petrel. The seismic is automatically imported using the scan settings, survey and vintage from SDM. Lookup the SEG-Y seismic from the Petrel project in the SDM database, compare loading parameters, surveys, vintages and original coordinate systems and identify loading errors.
