Seismic Data Conditioning
Conditioning of seismic data before performing detailed reservoir evaluations is key to reduce uncertainty coming from processing or other operations that may affect the seismic signature coming from inside the interest reservoir zones.
Create the most commonly used rock physics models, elastic properties and fluid substitution. Use the data from a Blocky Modeling 1D solution and compare with seismic data. Model and estimate the effects of thin-beds with a tuning wedge tool. Study the effect of lateral variations in different parameters (Phi, Sw, Vshale, etc). Generate synthetic seismograms for comparisons.
Create and view statistical information about Vp,Vs,Rho and other data into litho-facies classes. Build 2D PDFs from litho-facies classification to be used in Bayesian classification. Search for specified waveform segments in the seismic that closely match trace segments and derive facies ranges.Classify seismic AVO using intercept-gradient plot, highlighting anomalies by muting the background.
