Seismic Feature Enhancement (SFE)
SFE provides a powerful technique for flatspot detection during early stages of your interpretation workflow. The input for SFE are Seismic data and a Polygon defining the seismic section to investigate the anomaly.
Seismic Feature Enhancement Example
By running SFE along a given traverse over your data a flatspot hidden in your data the can be brought to life. The Pre-SFE image is on the left and the Post-SFE (Enhanced) is on the right with the arrow highlighting the flat-spot.
Seismic Feature Enhancement Analysis
Using the Aperture design tab, the user can adjust the traverse aperture type, size and even decimate the Seismic information to use in order to improve the detection chances of this Direct Hydrocarbon Indicator (DHI).
Load Parameters from Cube
SFE can restore parameters used from a previous SFE Seismic Cube, allowing the user to enhance the parameters used earlier.
